The Family Paediatric First Aid course is designed for parents, grandparents or anyone who would like to learn the basic first aid to administer to an infant or a child in an emergency. This course is held in the comfort of your own home where you can surround yourself with family and friends. If you are the host, you do not pay to attend. Includes a free copy of the Paediatric First Aid Made Easy 64 page guide (RRP £5.99) to every couple who attends.

Course Content:


State the aims of first aid

Assess an emergency situation safely

Provide first aid for an infant and a child who is unresponsive and breathing normally

Provide first aid for an infant and a child who is unresponsive and not breathing normally

Adult CPR

Provide first aid for an infant, child and adult who has a foreign body airway obstruction (Choking)

Provide first aid for an infant and a child who has sustained a head injury

Recognise meningitis

Recognise a febrile convulsions

Recognise common childhood illnesses (Bronchiolitis, Croup, Anaphylaxis)


Understand how to administer first aid to an infant and a child with burns or scalds
